Tim Jantzi

Founder

Born in Buffalo NY, Tim Jantzi graduated cum laude from The State University of New York at Cortland in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in Education, and then began his teaching career in Charleston SC. He earned his Masters Degree in Learning Disabilities from the Citadel in 1993. In 1987, Jantzi began tutoring students part time and shortly thereafter launched Carolina Learning Systems, which was later changed to Jantzi Test Prep.  His vision was to help students increase their standardized test scores by using his own curriculum called Strategies for Success.  This venture has grown into the largest course of its kind in South Carolina. Strategies for Success is now taught in Buffalo, Indianapolis, Nashville, and Charleston.  In 1996, Jantzi was asked to design and teach the SAT program for the University of South Carolina’s summer Carolina Camp-In. He presented to the National Conference on Testing in 1997. Clemson University also appointed Jantzi as the architect and instructor for their Summer Academic Camp in 2014, achieving amazing results. Tim Jantzi has a very unique style of teaching.  His direct, no-nonsense approach, combined with his humor, make him an instant favorite with students.  With 30 years of experience in successfully helping tens of thousands of students improve their ACT and SAT scores, he has established himself as a national authority. Tim resides in Charleston South Carolina with his wife and three children.
