The LSAT tests many of the same skills as the GRE, including analytical and logical reasoning, reading comprehension, and critical thinking. The LSAT is not computer-based and not adaptive to the individual taking it, so every student is subject to the same level of difficulty. This leads many test takers to the opinion that the LSAT is harder than the GRE.
GRE vs. LSAT: Which One Do I Need?
When choosing between the LSAT or the GRE, your biggest consideration is whether you plan to apply to law school. If a law degree isn’t your goal, you likely won’t need to take the LSAT and will be able to gain admission to your dream grad school with a great GRE score.
